Ahh how times change. When Judas Priest last played here, it was to about 500 people in a largely empty SFX while touring the now lauded Painkiller album.

Ghost: Why think it to be a joke? Everyone who's on the Metalireland forum knew there was to be an Irish date yesterday.

Maybe it was your reply which is a joke? Hmmm?

Judas Priest, and Megadeth, and Testament, all in the POINT, in Feb.

Looking forward to this. Surprised with the 2 dates as a double bill of
Priest and Scorpions only half filled the Odyssey in Belfast a few years ago.

Yeah thought that myself.. I'd imagine most of the younger crowd will there mostly for Megadeth. I'm going for Testament mostly although I love all the bands. Testament are amazing live, whereas much as I love Priest, they just aren't great live at all.

Saw testament live for the first time at waldrock in Holland - only band for the entire crappy (emphasis on the crappy) festival that had a good mosh going for their whole (or in the case of most bands that played ANY of their) set! Megadeth also rule & have never seen the priest live. I will have my ticket come Monday >.<What a great 2 years for music - was at wacken this year; at the gates (oh yeah).. CARCASS (OH YEAH!!) and loads of other cool stuff.. heading over to England on November 22nd to see Napalm Death & Carcass playing together. It's times like this I think about the bands I will never get to see. (namely pantera, original sepultura or death *sigh*).

I've always wanted to see the them, especially with Skolnick. so that'll be another off the 'list'.

    Great lineup.
Can't wait to see Testament, love Skolnick and have been dying to see them live.
Don't know much Priest stuff to be honest but what I have is not that bad.
Megadeth will be class as per usual.

Thread resurrection here! Who's going tomorrow? Myself and 2 mates are heading up from Limerick. Really looking forward to it as I haven't seen any of these bands live before, which is shameful in Megadeth's case!
