Came across a website claiming to get you an EU license. Taxi bosses have been claiming a lot of taxi license holders have been availing of these website to get an EU license and then transfer that license to a full Irish license. The taxi regulator could stamp this out simply by not accepting licenses that were recently exchanged from other EU countries. A haulier company was recently linked to another web site that was selling eastern European driving license. The site I came across was offering licenses for over 300 sterling. Obviously this could be a scam and you in fact lose your money and get no license, So none of you provisional license holders even dream of sending hard earned bucks. But I first heard about this on The last word program and a minister was on the show stating the EU parliament had already shut down these sites, well apparently not.
