Yes it looks very refined, nice graphics and new plug ins, I am surprised they haven't upped the track count for LE. In a year from now I hope to move to HD either way.

What is ADC? Automatic downloadable content?

The track count is up to 48 mono or stereo tracks in le..ADC is automatic delay compensation..pro tools le is pretty much the only sequencer still withouut it..

Just been looking at the new playlist editor. I was using nuendo the other day and was thinking how handy that is. I liked the folder idea in cubase/nuendo. You better be able to do that outside of loop record.

I thought PT 8 would have been new hardware. For HD I'd like to see a stand alone box with an ethernet connection from the computer.

It was a third party plug by mellowmuse software..once they iron out some stuff it should do..its dodgy on outboard sends and stuff..

Yeah, im itching for this now from the look of it...a heap of new plugs will go down well too..

it's such a cynical business practice to not include ADC. It's clear they are only keeping it as a PTHD only thing because let's be honest, with the amount of processing power available to PTLE users, there's not much point in splashing out on a hd system these days.

So looks like PTLE users will have to suffer at the hands of digidesign's flawed business model.
Not to get too shouty about anything, but I'm glad I've ditched digidesign's sorry ass.
