This thread is here so people can post about important news and current events that currently affect Christianity. However, as some of articles posted here may be contentious, I want to butt into Kelly's post and lay down a few ground rules that should help keep everything on track.

• All articles must relate to Christianity, not attack it. The difference here is analogous to a book written about Christianity (be it a positive or critical work) as opposed to a book written with the express intent of attacking Christianity.

• Please provide a link to all articles (original source if possible) and a brief description.

• Do not comment or reply to any of the posts on this thread. If you want to discuss any issues raised here, please start a new thread and copy or link to the article in question.

There are probably enough stickies on the forum already. If there is enough interest in the thread it will bob up and down the forum as interest waxes and wanes.

And if it does, it will be by popular choice -- we live in a (representative) democracy and the Irish Constitution guarantees the rights of Irish citizens, not anything from the UN, no matter how much David Quinn might hope, for political reasons, that it did.

Well its legal, so they've already jumped the big moral hurdle, are we really surprised that its being advertised? I mean, why shouldn't it be advertised if its already been decided that its a legit medical procedure which can be got on the NHS?

BTW, I am anti-abortion, I'm just not surprised by this and wonder why you'd be?
