Nokia Car Kit

    Hi, The aul lad has an old nokia fone he got with the Job, he also has the car kit to go with it. The usual one that is connected to the radio etc and wired in the back. Its one of the early ones, say 2002/2003. But he's looking to upgrade the fone and im just wondering if he will have to get a new car kit also??

    The charger pin is larger than the nokia ones these days so obviously none of the newwer fones will sit into the cradle.

    is there a connection or something you can buy and replace it with or will the car kit be obsolete?

    if its a ck 91 kit its obsolete and if its ck 7w kit the cradles are inter changeable ie- if the cable can be disconnected under the cradle its a ck7w he not its an older kit and more than likely well out of date
