    hey all
    doing a project towards getting my degree, was wondering if anyone knows of a open source package for comparing two audio files on a computer.

    if you wanna see how similar two audio files are, invert the phase on one and sum the two files. whatever dissapears is common to both files. as far as i know you should be able to do that in audacity.
