There are 6,000 rooms available at $19.28 (c. £10) plus taxes and charges. Taxes are based on the $19.28 rate and they will vary by destination.

The press office assures us that “the confirmation will detail all charges prior to pressing the confirm button”, so you’ll know before you agree to pay.

    An example

Gleneagles in Scotland would normally cost £610 for two nights. Under the offer, we predict that the total price would be £10 a night, plus about £4 sales tax, working out at £24.

How do you get the price?
all the dates / locations I've tried come up with full price.
Selecting anything from the linked page just brings me to a new start page.#

    Doh!
I get it you register now and the offer is good tomorrow -
I guess there will be a zillion requests for the 8000 places but deffo worth trying, Thanks.

I thinks its hardly a big surprise that their site has crashed, there's noway a site like this would ever get near this kind of traffic.

Just off the phone to them, you cant book over the phone but there have been reports on other forums of people getting rooms but they are very much in the minority, obviously server hasnt crashed its just selective about who its letting in.

yeah all traffic seems to be directed to a static busy page. Doubt they are that overwhelmed. They're just not letting people book.

I'm multicomputering this here in college, got through to the hotel pages about 7 times but havent got past the check availability stage yet.

Edit: Now i'm stuck on a page saying processing your selection and have been for a few minutes and there is no load bar :(

    Still no luck.

Got an email saying basically that they were sorry that it all went wrong and that they were going to try a different approach. Had to download a booking form and then email it to an address, then got an out of office from that email saying that the offer was over due to huge demand...confused me! :(

Although the leading Hotels of the World are a reputable group and the email did say that they weren't going to keep the email address to use.....

Now a new email saying they've postponed the whole offer - basically because they made a balls of it! What a shower of twits....
