O.k first of all feel free to direct me somewhere else if im posting in the wrong place!

Ok, i have an interview this week for a management position with a leading irish sports retailer. I have experience working in this sector, but not as management! I am just out of college and this is my first management-type interview!

Has anyone any ideas of what will be asked of me?!! i have checked their website so im aware of the 'buzz words' in use! but theres not a whole lot of info on it!

Oh and of course...what shall i wear!? any help, any suggestions will be gladly welcomed! Thanks! :)

For management level wear a good dark coloured classically tailored suit, with a shirt underneath. Keep everything simple.
As for questions, it's be of the likes of
What can you bring to this company?
Where do you see yourself in ? years time?
Give an example of where you took charge of something and managed it?
What have you learned about the industry in your previous positions?
How will your college course help you with the job?
Always have examples tp back up answers.
Keep calm, firm handshake, eye contact, smile and don't fidget.
    Best of luck.

Read some basics about the company. They may ask you what do you think about them or something. They don't have to but they may.. So better to know few things (i.e. where they come from, how old are they, what they sell etc.)

Have also some ready answers in your mind for questions like :
    What are your best straights?
What's the most important in your job?
What are your expectations towards the company?
    How flexible you are?
Would you change your place of living if company would offer you some position in the other city?

Make sure you have examples of when things went wrong and how you coped. Also when you've had to lead a team and conflicts you've had to resolve.

    Good luck :)
