    Hi,
I tore my cruciate ligamnet in my knee about two years ago playing gaelic. As i was just starting college I didnt do anything about it- enjoyed going out to much. Now as im just finished im determined to get back at it.

Has anyone any advice about how much the op will cost?
I gererally know the basic stuff about it from the internet

Are you sure you need an op? It should have healed at this stage, although probably not in the best way. See your doctor and perhaps ask to be referred to a specialist.

I would've thought it would have to heal eventually. Definitely look at seeing a specialist so, things have no doubt been complicated by not treating it straight away unfortunately. Anything else that could be said here would be medical advice which is a big no no. Hope you get it sorted though.

Bluemoney when you get a confirmed diagnosis about the injury you can pop back and get anecdotal info about what the operation involves/ what the costs might look like, but until then I'm afraid the thread will have to close.

Hope everything goes well for you.
