Hi folks.............I was just wonderig what the standard of teaching/coaching of the martial arts are like in this gym? I live near to the gym which would make it very handy for me as Im looking to get more involved in martial arts especially MMA...........

Or would I be better off going to a more renowned Martial Arts gym?
Also do you have to be a member of the gym (becuase Im not:() or is there the option of pay as you go to avail of the martial arts?

    Help much appreciated...........Thanks...........:)

I don't know what Jon is trying to say but as far as I know Philip Graham is running a BJJ/no-gi submission wrestling class twice a week in the gym. BJJ is a great sport and martial art to learn and Phil is a good guy. You used to be able to pay 10 euro a class on a PAYG basis, I haven't heard otherwise but I haven't been there in a few months. check it out.

you can find more info here or email him bjjwarrior-@hotmail.com

Seriously, I've seen the set up in Pinnacle and it's good, I've also spoken to people who train with Dave Herbert and I've heard thats good too.

That guy is banned, he's not going to reply.

Now if you guys could answer the question that Diaz asked, that would be great.

Apologies, didn't realise it was a zombie thread and thought the OP had been clearly answered.

@Diaz The BJJ coach at Pinnacle (Phil Graham) is apparently in Oz according to this. Although that info looks dated too.

Plenty of other gyms teaching BJJ in the city center though
