Hi just a quick post to let people know that there will be another Kettlebell Workshop taking place on Sunday the 18th of October in S.E.A.M.A. Academy in Galway.

The course is being run by the AIKLF (All Ireland Kettlebell Lifting Federation) the only recognised and certified kettlebell trainers in the country!

The cost for the day is €60 and its a first come first served basis as places are limited, all kettlebells will be provided (we still have some available to buy) and the course will suit beginners and intermediate lifters!

Anyone interested can contact me directly using my boards mail or else on 0877511450.

any other questions feel free to ask. :)

    Ross.

    Alright folks

Yes there will be a T-34 Programme "Built like a Tank" workshop on Girevoy Sports...once again at Daves place.

Once again working on correct form and giving people the chance to see what its like to work for "time" with the bells as in the professional sport.

As this is not a sport you can learn from youtube,Dave has had about 4 of these workshops and is leading the way in Ireland with Kettlebell development
along with ourselves up here in Girevoy Central-Belfast.

    Web site up soon...........contact me on +44 (0) 77 89 465 700

    All the best...J

Not au fait with the kettlebell scene so let me ask you this?

Are you guys, ross-a-plooza, 3Kings, and edges affiliated or part of the same group?

If so, okeydoke, no need for multiple threads. If not, don't post competitive information on someone's thread when they let us know there's a course on.

All one big happy familly playing with each others balls.

SEAMA and Wild Geese MA are both hosting Jason "3 Kings" Kelly, the founder of the AIKLF and instructor under the watchfull eye of the man himself Vasily Ginko.

Hope this clears things up somewhat. Happy to answer any and all questions (assuming that is, I know the answer!)

Jason gave us an excellent workshop once again today. We did almost 2 hours and it really helped solidify our technique and introduced some new and different exercises which were great. I would really recommend attending the upcoming workshop in Dublin with Jason for anyone even remotely interested.

Hi shane, what is it you're unsure about??

    Hi Ross,

It's the bit about 'the only recognised and certified kettlebell trainers in the country!'

    Recognised by whom?

There are also other qualifications in kettlebell training that trainers in Ireland may have eg: RKC, Extreme kettlebells etc.

I feel your post is misleading, that AIKLF is the ONLY qualification.

    Regards Shane

Hi Shane, i didn't mean to mislead anyone apologies if i did, i was merely stating that the A.I.K.L.F. is the only I.U.K.L. certified kettlebell organisation in the country at present and that their trainers are I.U.K.L. certified too. I just wanted people to know that those running the workshop are the real deal...unfortunately nowadays there are lots of people claiming to be kettlebell instructors but havnt undergone any proffessional instruction, just gotten "argos bells" and watched some dvds...ending up with alot of people getting injured through poor technique! I'm sure you can appreciate the importance of this especially if people are trying to lift 2 32kg bells over their head for 10min!!!

all of the A.I.K.L.F. instructors have trained with Vasily Ginko (7 time world champ) too and are certified under him.

hope that helps and again apologies if u were mislead. :)
