One of my BFF's and her boyfriend went to the G in Galway for a dirty weekend, apparently it's the best place in the world for total luxury. *shrugs*

Can anyone recommend a cottage similar to the Cottages for Couples place except in another part of the country....maybe Kerry or up the West coast somewhere....mainly looking for a private hot tub!!

Dungloe in Donegal is absolutely gorgeous no matter what time of year. Ostan na rossa is where we always stay. Lots of craic in the local pubs as well, always some good live music.

Another nice place is Makree Castle in Sligo. Hotel is fantastic.

I loved the Ramada hotel in Co.Cork, we also stayed in a private cottage in Killarney, the name of the group of cottages was Ahadoe Heights or Agadoe Heights (not sure of the spelling but google it), it was beautiful, and i dont remember it being that expensive, even though it sounds like it. They have beautiful cottages with open fires (how romantic) they have in the "estate" a pub (for him) and spa(for her) also!! its beautiful.

stayed in Lough Rynn in Leitrim during the summer www.loughrynn.ie. Middle of nowhere which is great.Totally plush old style place.perfect to chill out and do nothing except explore the place,They've been open since 2006 but are doing a big promo at the mo so its great value - think its five-star.

That cottages for couples looks great, will deffo be trying that place out.

I've got this place in Waterford booked for a weekend in October .... http://www.richmondhouse.net/

It's supposed to be amazing - particularly if you like good food :)

I'm thinking about staying at the cottages for couples over Xmas.
Could anyone recommend the best cottage? I'm thinking either the Courtyard Cottage 2 or Riverbank Barn.

Any ideas which would be the best one? And what the prices are like?
    thanks!
