Don't they just accept your passport at the airport without looking at the confirmation?

I don't think I've ever been asked for my confirmation number - I usually just give them my passport.

You need confirmation number for online checkin though, don't you? (although I've a vague memory of them maybe accepting your credit card instead (if you know the flight details/)

A confirmation email would have been sent. Surely you couldn't have more than about four email addresses? Do a search "ryanair itinerary"

So you don't know who booked it, or when they booked it for, and you've lost the confirmation e-mail?

Not sure you deserve to go away to be honest

It'll be on your credit card statement for the payment you made to Ryanair.

Are you sure you booked it yourself? Could someone you're travelling with have booked it with their's, in which case they'll have the e-mail.

At the airport walk up to the Ryanair ticket desk, present your passport, and they'll give you your booking reference.

Some airport check-in desks ask for the reference, some don't.

Well, we booked it together, not sure whoes email address was used and or who's credit card

i always send myself a text msg with the confirmation number on it.

the other thing to do would be t set a calendar entry in your phone for the day of the flights with it in too.

another idea would be to send a scheduiled email to yourself a day or two before of the ryanair conf. mail.

http://www.lettermelater.com/ will let you schedule the sending of any mail at any time/date in the future.

You don't need it. Just go to the desk and tell them your name and they'll have your reservation from that. So, just tell them your name is Irishbird and they'll let you on. Don't think it's that common of a name so you should have no probs...!

Unfortunately not everywhere is like that. 2 times in Paris Beauvais and once in Shannon I didn't have my code and yet I could see my name on the passenger list yet I was told each time to go to the ticket desk to get my code.
