    Hi,

I was thinking of applying for the Garda reserve. The only problem is I have been offcially cautioned before in a Garda station. Would this rule out the possibility of me joing them?

There's an emergency services forum which is a better place to post your question.

A criminal conviction is a no-no but you were not convicted of the offence in a court so my understanding is each application is taken on its merits. Obviously come clean when they ask.
