Which dual tuner to get?

I've had a PVR 500 MCE with the additional back bracket in my HTPC for 2 years and have two set-top boxes connected to it via scart. All was working well until recently when one tuner just stopped working and now it's giving loads of trouble and Hauppage haven't been able to help resolve the problem so at this stage I just want to replace it.

It seems the 500 PVR MCE has been discontinued though I'm sure I could pick one up on ebay or somewhere. I'm in Ireland and don't currently know much about DVB cards - are they something I should consider?

My HTPC is in an Antec Fusion v2 case with a mini-atx mobo that I think only has one full PCI slot so I think I need a dual tuner card as opposed to 2 separate cards (definitely need to have dual tuner functionality).

It's been a few years since I had to look into tuner cards so I'm sure much has changed - is the 500MCE still a good choice? I recall there being A and B versions of these cards with both having pros and cons. Given that I'm on PAL in Ireland, which ones should I avoid?
