Is it legal to hunt and kill deer in Ireland?

    Where do you do it?

I'm from Killarney and I know they cull the herd but I thought the park rangers were responsible for that?

    Good job Tackleberry.

One small point though, it is not legal to shoot red stags in kerry - everywhere else is ok.

Congratulations man. I hope to experience the same at the start of next season. Putting word out for permissions at the moment. Shouldn't be impossible as there's more and more deer in my area.

True. I was out looking over the let we have yesterday & saw some fine Red Stags on our travels, female Sika, but no male Sika as yet.
