A small selection of shots from yesterday's show in Dunboyne, would have liked to have got a lot more shots but keeping an eye on my six year old and all of his paraphernalia put paid to that.

    Anyway enjoy:

Maybe because I'm a child of the 80's, or because of Sega "Outrun", but I suddenly want a Ferrari Testatossa.

Thanks for a nice selection of pictures. By any chance did you get a photo of the Porsche 914 that was parked next to the MGA?

Sorry, no... wanted to take more but didn't get to it. What's up there is all I got aside from some of the young lad doing his "Need For Speed" impression on the kids mini race track. :D

Agreed, I like seeing that sort of bread 'n' butter stuff at shows as well as the fancy stuff as they're the cars that were all around me on the streets and roads when I was growing up. The fancy stuff like Jags, Lotus, Ferraris, Porsches etc. you droll over, the bread 'n' butter stuff like '70s Escorts and Cortinas etc. brings back actual childhood memories.

Memories like sliding around the back seat of a Vauxhall Viva with no seat belts on a sunny day, on the way to Brittas Bay, with the black vinyl seats buring the legs off you. :D I'd say anyone who grew up in Dublin or Wicklow would remember similar.

Yeah lovely to see that Escort, though for a split second I though that actual car may have had a more sprting past. I thought it was Richie Heeleys old car, similar reg, I had to look it up.
