Sky plus series link problem.

    Folks,

    Lately but not all the time when i do series link recordings a message is on the planner that says "searching".

    This message is currently on my planner for approximately ten different items that i regularly record on a week to week basis with series link.

    This "searching" message never ggoes away and as a rresult the series link fails. This happens on 50% of my series link list while the other 50% works fine. Anyone else have this problem?

    Yeah I've seen it on mine - once or twice over the last number of weeks - but seemed to sort itself out

    i have always had similar probs with series links on my sky+ box. it says searching for a bit and then comes back as failed, but when I do it again straight away the series link is added??

    I am familiar with that too but what i am trying to describe is a bit different.

    I am saying mine finds it and adds it to the list of stuff to be recordeed in the planner. However when you look up the planner later it then has lost the details and under where the programme to be recorded should be listed only a "searching" is listed.

    That same thing ("searching" permanently listed in the planner) happened when my GF tried to add series link to Ugly Betty. The Friday episode didn't record as a result. It's the only instance I've see of it so far.

    Have you tried rebooting the box?
