New Job

    Hi

I've been looking for a job last couple months and just got offered one but only on a part time basis, doubtful that it'll go full time. In the interview he basically was worried i'd leave once i got something with more hours. Its pretty much at least 6 months role.
I said that i am happy at the moment working part time etc etc .
As in this climate there's no guarantee of full time. The money isn't as much as i wanted but i took it anyways and i'm starting this week.

However should i feel bad if in the next couple weeks/month i happen to get something else and need to leave?
I would be foolish to turn a full time job down just not to disappoint the employer.
Could give him a months notice to make up for it.

    thanks

So what you're saying is you will leave as soon as you find a full-time job, but you told your employer otherwise?

Yes you should feel bad for lying to him, but I also agree it would be foolish to turn down full-time work.

You're still screwing him over though.

Yes, you should feel bad for not staing for the 6 months, and then being jobless after those 6 months. You should not feel guilty for being unemployed afterwards, when you're kicking yourself for not taking the full-time position.
