want better tv

    I have a new Bush CRT with a 'flat' screen and a new Philips dvd/video player. But I want a better tv. I want it for watching dvd and want at least a 32 inch real flat screen. any suggestions as to which one to go for and how much to spend? I am not very knowledgeable about these things but have just got into watching movies on dvd and whie my picture is very good i would like a bigger one.

    I gave seen some reference made to size of living room and size of tv. Is there a special relationship between these one should stick to?I do not know offhand my l room size, i have an open plan kitchen/living room
