This might be a "how long is a piece of string question", but what is the best timing for UFH?

Should it be on all the time, or on for afew hours then off?

This is for a new build 230 sq M bungalow.

    Many thanks.

What kind of heating system are you intending to use?

It probably depends on how long the floor takes to heat up and thereby make the house feel comfortable.

How long it is on depends very much on how well insulated a particular size house is.

I remember a thread in REC: home & garden: building and construction, renewable energies discussing the use of heat pumps, some with UFH. That thread might be of some help to you. :)
