The student monthly bus & Dart ticket is €84 euro so I guess the bus-only ticket is about €60. The amazingly useless DB website only lists a selection of their monthly tickets, presumably listing all of them might confuse potential customers.

I can't find a student monthly bus ticket. I did find a student bus and luas ticket for €73, which works out cheaper than the student 7-day ones.

The website lists all Dublin Bus prepaid tickets.

There is no Student Monthly Bus only ticket.

    The Student tickets available are:
    Weekly Bus only
    Weekly Bus/Luas
    Monthly Bus/Rail Short Hop
    Monthly Bus/Luas

    Isn't that a little odd?

Likewise there's no annual student bus ticket. I know most students won't be able to afford it but for those who could (from summer jobs for example), it would be very handy. It also includes nightlink which could save a few bob.

There's no annual student bus ticket because a lot of students go away during the summer and wouldn't use it for that part of the year. The ones that stay here don't necessarily get the bus as regularly during the summer.

The student bus/luas ticket is €73, well the one in my wallet now is anyway.

You can get them from most newsagents that sell bus tickets - however, you may be asked to present our student travel card.

If you're only starting college this year and are in Trinity(and therefore not back yet) you can still pop in now and get one or wait till next week. If you're getting the travel card this week, go in the main front gate and turn left. Go into the first open building on your left and turn left inside it. You can buy the id there(€15) and there's also a small shop there where you can buy the monthly ticket.

The monthly ticket is 30-day, and the weekly tickets will give you 28 days.

Why don't dublin bus offer a student montly ticket for dublin bus only:confused:. It seems to be only rail or luas combined with bus. I don't want to buy the adult one. If i buy the weekly bus only every week, it works out more expensive than buying a monthly luas and bus combined. This is a bit ridiculous.

Right so, i'll fork out for the luas, even though i wont use it  Not happy with dublin bus at all. Don't they know students are poor. Letter of complaint on it's way to them.
