Today's Fog brought me 0.3mm of rainfall according to my AWS! Does this count as an official recording? :D The fog this morning was very heavy.

Christ Danno, that must have been some fog! I only recorded 0.2mm 3 morning's ago during a thick morning fog. :D

Seriously though, I have noticed over the last 3 or 4 days that the likes of Knock, Johnstown and Oak Park, to name but a few, have recorded 0.1mm to 0.2 mm each day over the last few due to fog and mist.

I just wonder are these added to the final rainfall totals issued by Met Eireann for each station at the end of the month, or do they subtract what is accumulated by fog in a raingauge?

    Anybody know?

Don't see any reason to discount totals from fog? It is precipitation.
