    Hey All,

I recently received confirmation that my application for a permantent visa has been successful. My passport has been stamped and I have handed in my notice.

I have been granted a de facto spouse visa as my girlfriend is Australian.

    So hooray for that.

I have also recently complete my B.SC in Computers at night.

Does anybody have any advice for a budding IT Support pro for the Sydney 2000 area? I have done the whole WHV thing in '05/'06 and spent most of my time in Sydney.

Sould I contact agencies before hand or wait until I get there?

Would an assessment from the ACS be worth while given that I am already approved to work?

ACS would be wasted money mate , save up as lot of cash and simply start as a graduate in Oz.
