If you have a non-SKY sat box, this game is free to air on S4C. Just change the audio to track 4 for commentary in English.

Also on SKY channel 134 but with Welsh commentary.

I doubt many of them travelled to Ospreylia for the game, perhaps a few of the more masochistic ones :)

29-0 Ulster down a man and under pressure on their own line. This could get Connachtesque from last night.

36-0 really poor stuff from Ulster

Bit late for this game, but you get English commentary by pressing the red button if you're watching on Sky.

Matt Williams is a crap coach and this proves it IMO. There is no bloody way in this world that Ulster are that poor with players that they have.

On the plus T.Bowe looks sharp and running some good lines.

Aye Bowe looked better playing with the O's than he ever did for Ulster, the switch seems to be bringing him on leaps and bounds. Certainly in with a very good shout of playing on the wing in the AI's, from what I have seen of him so far he's a shoein. His confidence looked sky high.

On the wing? Think he has a much better chance of starting in the centres myself, most likely playing outside BOD..

Think about it, Fitzgerald seemed to be lined up for that position for Ireland (despite inexperience) until his injury, so it makes sense that now that Bowe is playing well at 13 that he will be the natural choice..

Aye, you make a valid point, Bowe has never really done it at Centre for Ireland though, and with Shaggy's loss of form, maybe the wing is the best option?

Hmm perhaps in the long-term, but not when we have the likes of Earls, Fitzgerald, Kearney, Dempsey and even Murphy and Dowling playing well in the back 3, with relatively little form or experience in the centres.

Well I guess of those fit atm, its any
2 Centres from BOD, Fitz, Bowe
FB from Gerv, Murphy, Kearney or Earls
Wings from Shaggy, Fitz, Earls, Bowe, Kearney, Murphy

not sure if dowling figures tbh

Nah, your right, he probably dosen't, i was just highlighting the relative depth in the back 3..

I think Bowe will get the nod over Fitz considering he has had no gametime in the centres this season, so it would be a risky selection..

Aye but that said Fitz has played more rugby a Centre with BOD than Bowe ever has, it's a definate quandary.

in fairness on form how can you include horgan and exclude dowling? dowling rarely makes mistakes, makes ground after every tackle and has picked up on dougie's running lines very nicely. horgan's form for the last12 months has been very poor

I include Shaggy as he is the incumbent, I don't think either he or dowling are worthy of consideration at this time tbh, given the relative abundance of riches we have for the back 3.

In fairness Dowling couldn't finish his dinner, while even in apparently poor form Horgan scored more tries last season for his province than anyone except maybe Bowe.
