Hi, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me!! I've just thrown up (think I'm coming down with something, it's been doin the rounds in my house), and since I only started the pill recently, want to check I'm still covered. It says on the leaflet (it's Yasmin by the way) that if vomiting occurs within 3 or 4 hours of taking the pill, then you might not be protected and should follow the procedure for a missed pill. However, I took it this morning at 9am and since it's now 9pm, I assume it's already well absorbed into my body? Does anyone know for sure? Thank you!

I suggest you ring your dr or your dispensing chemist tomorrow and check.
To be sure you should take extra precautions for the next 7 days if you want to avoid becoming pregnant.
