Downloaded Dreammachine last night, its a plugin which has loads of patches that randomly mix and match to create an ebbing/flowing sound ambience. Have to be careful not to over use it I suspect (its built for lazy peeps like me!).

I also used Algo Musics M42 Nebula synth for the "decending" sound and the "slow" lead sound in the second half.
