Seems the french navy are throwing their weight around off Howth head and Dublin bay

On the RTE today friday show Joe Duffy show ex Irish navy guy was out in his little boat fishing yesterday and saw French navy ship named something like "Tetis" basicaly a intel gathering type with big antennas
It was close to Howth about one mile offshore so well within Irish three mile limit or the 12 mile limits

(Link for rte will work this weekend about 26 minites into show so slide the slider to 26 minutes and listen the story yourself)
    http://www.rte.ie/radio1/player_av.html?0,null,200,http://dynamic.rte.ie/quickaxs/209-rte-liveline.smil

(On monday onwards you need the pod cast version)

When Irish navy called them up they didnt blink said they were doing naval exersize
The Irish navy for some reason said OK continue which is not something they have the rank or authority to do

Mind you the french boat had much bigger guns so that can sway your opinion easily
The ship Tatis left the region

The norm is months in advance a navy ship from another region will book a courtesy call do no naval exersizes when it passes through irish waters and then do the same on leaving

Then this afternoon another one was seen in Dublin Bay

So out with the CT and say what you think

I figure the Undersea telephone cables come out from Howth to go across to UK and the divers were fixing a deep sea bug to the cables to listin in to Ireland

If thats the case maybe they are after the red hot Berties tips on horses :D

Or mayby they are pissed with the minister for defence for the costs to save the Irish crew on the Asgard and no signs of a big fat cheuque
so they sending the gun boats  to send the message:D
Brown Envelope mana si vous plait;)

or worse its a new rugger bugger device to win the next match and will give the Irish team the trots

Now cheating in Rugby that would mean war
