What the hell... 2 days before semester 1 and they drop this bomb.

I dunno anymore, all a bit crazy.

Email that's be good to add :)

"due to circumstances beyond our control it has become necessary
move CA419 Database 1: Relational Theory & Multidatabase
from semester 1 to semester 2. CA420 Database 2: Protocols
& Systems will not be offered this year.

If you have registered for CA419 (Database 1) in semester 1
you must select another option and complete a change of
option form within the first 2 week of semester 1.

If you have registered for CA420 (Database 2) in semester 2
you must select another option and complete a change of
option form within the first 2 weeks of semester 2. An
obvious choice would be CA419(Database 1) but you are free
to select any semester 2 module.

Changing options in the first 2 weeks of the semester
does not incur any costs. I cannot guarantee that this
will be true after week 2 of a semester."

Hopefully I will be able to just carry it over to second semester

Personally would like an explanation why they were removed. I presume the lecturer is sick or something. Not sure.

Seriously screwing over people repeating DB2, mate of mine is in an odd situation.

God yeah, that's a really weird situation.

could someone post up the actual choices available for sem1 and sem2 please?
it never fails to amaze me how the best technical university in the country can consistently screw up simple things like registration.

when i was registering there were 4 modules missing from the list ffs!!!
