    No? Oh well:

    hk500b.jpg

Silly ostentatious rich man's car, but much more interesting than the usual suspects. Might consider the coupe version either.

Has to be a Gt 500, Eleanor. The rest of the money i'll save for petrol and bribes to the insurance company to insure me:D

After that, i've always had a thing for a Gt6, red with minilites. Yum lol

Hmmm. I'd have to get one car from every marque!!!! for a Ferrari though, it would have to be a 250 Lusso.

Dunno if I could pick just one car, prefer loads of lesser value ones but if it were just one then, the rarest Gullwing of them all,

Or if it was a car I had to use daily and keep forever,

Nothing wrong with wanting one,you would have to plan your route carefully though to avoid low bridges!!Is there none of these left?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,374 ✭✭✭Saab Ed

Some left in private ownership and Howth have one aswell, but none like this one. Anorak moment coming up. This one is KD191 which was fitted with a Rolls Royce engine and as opposed to the normal to the Detroit diesel V6, a total 1 of a kind. I need to get out more:(

It's been a few years since they've been in service. One is up in the transport museum and few were sent to the Middle East

When you ask why I presume you ask why had it got a Rolls Roce engine. I was only 5 when this bus was built but as far as I know it was because they planned to export some and they were testing them with different running gear. If memory serves me KD 156 was fitted with a Cummins engine. :) More anorak...
