What does an emploers PAYE Number look like

I need to get my Employers PAYE number as I am being emergency taxed. There is an 'Employers Reg No.' On my Payslip This is (Example) 41000000V I can't get any response from payroll who are in another part of the country anyway. MM

Looks like it. From experience, when you ring up the tax office, and give them the number, they'll give you the company name to verify, so ring them up, and go from there. The tax office is usually quite helpfull.

It will usually be the same as their Vat number, should be printed on receipts web site etc
