You are in a better predicament then me though.I'm working.Wanna trade places?:)

Even though Boden hockeyed us in last years final,I think we will put it up to them this time and we are well capable of beating them unlike last year where we failed to turn up.I can guarantee that Vinnies won't turn in a disgraceful performance like that again.Mind you, before we went out and got beat by Boden,we killed ourselves in handing out a thrashing to Craobh Ciarans.

Whatever about the Vinnies-Boden fixture, the other fixtures look like very callable matches.Expect Crokes,Craobh Ciarans and O Tooles to win.

    Crokes won handily enough.

    Crumlin also beat Ciarans :mad::mad::mad:
Ciarans didnt really show up and Crumlin were deserving winners

Roll on tomorrow...need a win for the northside

Myself, Blackbelt and Mullet were at the games yesterday. You should have made yourselves known to us. I'm off to Croke Park today, but Blackbelt will probably be in Parnell Park, and we and others will be there next weekend. If anyone else is going, say it beforehand instead of afterwards.

    The Ciarans keeper was terrible.

I wouldn't have been blaming the keeper TBH I dont think he could have done anything about the 3 goals that went past him,

Was absolutely great win for the lads

Yeah i agree, nothing he could have done. Although his puckouts in the first half were piss poor but then so was the Ciarans all round play. I dont know what their gameplan was but it was terrible.

Crumlin played the better hurling and their No.13 was excellent on the ball and took some really good scores.

There was definitely some Mayo blood in those players on Saturday. There were a lot wides, some of them woeful ones. This Crokes fan is happy. :)Looking forward to next weekend's matches.

Yeah Na Fianna were terrible with their shooting. They pretty much dominated the attacking play and hit so many wides.Crokes would need to sharpen up.They took their scores well and hit few wides but possession was not too plentiful.A better team would have punished them imo.

As for Ciarans, they were dreadful by their standards. It has to be said that they are going back.I am not convinced Derek O Reilly is fully recovered from that nasty ligament injury he sustained last year. His brother Damien played well for periods of the game but Crumlin never gave up after Ciarans regained the lead and kept plugging away. They look like a real threat and of the 4 teams that played last Saturday, were the most impressive.

    Ballyboden 3 - 6 Ballymun 2 -11.

Great match. Last minute goal won it for Ballymun. A sideline ball in towards the square and up went a hand and in it went. No calls for a square ball, but there was no need. It was legitimate.

    Oliver Plunkett's 0 - 17 St. Mary's 1 - 12.

Not as good as the first game, but certainly more spice to it with a number of players seeing the sideline, including Alan Brogan after a second yellow. He had been involved in an incident earlier which saw a St. Mary's player get a straight red. St. Mary's led by a point at half time, having made a bit of a comeback. Oliver Plunkett's were better in the second half and a late, but brilliant, goal for St. Mary's put a better gloss on the scoreboard.

Diarmuid Connoly got sent off for St. Vincents today for mouthing to the referee. St. Vincents won by 5 points on a score of 14-9. Kilmacud beat UCD in a poor game easily enough. The standard was great and the craic and banter is second to none, hopefully everyone can make the semis.
