Got a call from the BBC today offering me tickets to Top Gear in Surrey...

OMFG!!! Can't believe it, on a high all day!! I keep looking at my tickets in awe... Flights are booked already! They better have kick ass cars!!

Also, I may faint a little when I see Hammond...

I'm having trouble booking any reasonably priced accommodation... anyone have any tips or know of any place near to Dunsfold Park?

Anyone actually been to the show, what's the protocol?

It does say that on the website alright. That's why I was expecting to be waiting for ages.

I'm very jealous and don't get cheap accommodation - get the good stuff - the likelihood of getting those tickets again are fairly slim, think of this as your honeymoon only YOU'LL enjoy it! go for broke! you MUST post a summary of the filming!

Have a nice hotel booked already, hiring a car so have more of a choice.

I'll take as many photos possible, cameras are not allowed inside the studio unfortunately though...

i was at it last week,seen the zonda and veyron up close,was the business.lotta standing around tho,so def wear comfortable shoes or else you'll be crippled when its over,goes on for few hours,and on that note wear warm clothes too cos its basically an old hanger they film it in,you can take pictures,they let you take pics inside but just not during filming,clakeson is a legend in person,no pc bull just says what he wants and curses non stop its savage

Meant to ask you - I assume you signed up to their ticket provider. Are you a Priority Pass member? Wondering if it's worth while shelling out for the membership or if it's a waste of my money.

When you take tickets you are commited to having equal numbers of men and women, if you don't they say they'll prob refuse you. I've got 4 tickets lined up for March Where did you stay?

That rule was null and void on the day as groups of lads arrived in their cars.

We stayed in barrington lodge, crawley. Pay a bit more for the deluxe room
