Looks to be a fishspinner and remain offshore but forecast to become a minimal hurricane.

The town of Yarmouth Nova Scotia appears to be in the path of the strongest winds (gusts to about 80 mph) and these should arrive soon as the centre of Kyle is about 45 miles WSW of there now. Aside from that small part of Nova Scotia, the impacts should be minimal, rain is only about 25-50 mms and winds outside the impact zone are only rising to about 30-40 mph.

The track across New Brunswick will likely avoid populated areas as there is a large national park on the shore (Fundy) where the track reaches land, and this area can easily be closed to the public tonight, so even if there is strong wind and large waves nobody will be around for it. The Fundy shore already has the world's largest tidal range so unusual tides are a fact of life around there. The tidal range is as much as ten metres.
