BICYCLE CARRIER FOR ROOF RACK??

Can anyne tell me of a cheap bicycle carrier clamp that goes on a roofrack the bar type rack,i just want it to carry 3kids smallish bikes,or would it be a big job to make something as i am ok at welding and have all that stuff,has anyone every made some kind of clamp t do same. And also did anyone buy the one that they had…
