M50 TOLL

I've used the M50 in the past few weeks since the barrier came down and I've made sure to pay the toll at the payzone point yet I've still received non payment notices in the post with demands to pay within 14 days . It says on the cover letter that if the toll has been paid to ignore the notice but surely they should know if the toll has been paid or not. There's also the legal aspect now that they can prosecute if its not paid, so if its ignored, can they take you to court or will they acknowledge that the toll has been paid?

Has anybody experience of this crowd?

Check the sticky in the motors forum about this (right up the top). There seems to be a lot of teething problems with the new system. I don't see any prosecutions being taken until such time as they've sorted out the payment issues. To be sure, keep copies of all your receipts.
