Just a thought - after a system crash, Firefox offered to Restore Previous session. I don't know much about web security, but I guess it must have saved some cookies or something and probably not passwords - any simple question is are there any security implications of firefox holding that data though a system reboot that a browser exploit could take advantage of?

(and potentially masquerade as you with a parallel open session with all your cookies from a different IP)

You can configure FF in order to clear all cookies/personal data when closed.
With regards to stored passwords, they are only stored if you specificaly decide to store them and click OK when asked.

Now how it works during a system crash, I do not know, I would assume they are cleared when the browser starts again, but I never tested.
