Some sort of bizarre suicide pact between twins ?

It would be unusual for females to choose such a violent way of suicide but it sure looked like they wanted to be knocked down and/or killed judging by the way they ran from the "safety" of the hard shoulder !

It took four men to restrain one of them. Drugs, I guess.

The lorry driver is most traumatised? I'd be bloody traumatised if a mad Swedish woman (who clearly wasn't injured seriously if she ran away like that) did the the damage shown to that car there!

Christ knows what was going on in their head... it certainly looked like some kind of suicide pact but what a selfish way to do it. Whatever about taking your own life ruining someone else's with the knowledge they have killed someone with their car is just shocking.

Agreed. Unfortunately this happens to train drivers from time to time too. I remember hearing a woman being interviewed on Liveline whose husband had been involved in more than one of these. Unfortunately the poor man died quite young as a result of all the stress.
