Landscape format.

Individual ordering from Blurb bookstore, with option to create 'groups' of ten or more in an area to bring cost down.

We all agreed on that? Right! (I'm liking this ThOndacracy )

So what do we do with the shots? And what are you putting in? Here's mine, since its landscape Meet Maggie -

Wow! way to set the standard guys! Thanks for getting this thread going. I think I'd like a bit of feedback on mine before deciding which to put in. 8x10 format, right?

I'm not sure on exact measurement. Mine will probably need cropping on the width. Sure post up and lets see what you were thinking of..

What date do they have to be submitted again? I forget, mid october wasn't it?

And yeah, clarity on image sizes/format would help. Should the images be border-less? I usually stick a border on mine for interwebular presentation but can leave that out no problem.

i still haven't decided seeing as i was hoping it would be portrait, i might still go with that one or if i have a landscape one i can decide on i'll go with that one

Plus I have no idea what photo I'm going to put in yet either, stress!

2. When do the photos have to be submitted? Closing date?
3. What order will the photographs be in? By real name, boards name, subject...?

I personally think that none of the images submitted should have a border so as to keep a general format of the book

Plus what information should be submitted with the image? Name, userID, info on the photo? Location? Link to homepage like Flickr or personal website?

Thank you for suggestions. I am glad that you all are so eager to go on.
First, we have to find out designer of the book. And that person will provide (according to the book size and blurb software) detailed specification of the files - file type, resolution, size in pixels.
Afterwards, I would like to post created two or three possible layouts (page designs) and we could decide if or what type of added information will be submitted with the photo.
But first, we are looking for designer!

I feel there needs to be a Preface to the book. Just a single page that explains, what Boards is, what this group is about & the concept of the book. Probably best if this was compiled by one of the Mods.
