    Lads,
I have a large number of old dell machines around the place which were imaged with our image initially. They all came with the restore CD's and there's a bunch of them in a press here.
However I dont know which restore CD's go with which hardware model number.
Is there any where on the web or elsewhere which will allow me to link the Dell P/N numbers on the CD's with the hardware types?
    Any assistance much appreciated.
    Kippy

The restore CDs just contain the OS. They are not system specific. Just make sure that the COA on the system matches the restore CD you use.
The only specific CD to worry about is the driver and utility CD.

    Cheers Sickboy,
I dont know how I could have been so stupid.
    Cheers.

So any XPSP2 install CD that came with any of the systems can be used on any one of them so long as the license number is on the PC box?
