3 day week////welfare entitelments

    Juast a quick one,what social welfare as in wage difference,dole,would one be entitled to if they were put on a 3day week.

    Have a read of this recent thread about the same problem. There is some more detailed information about your possible entitlements there along with some links to information.

    I can't comment on how living with their parents and having a kid will be factored in. Offhand (and I'm very open to correction) I'd say that living at home probably wouldn't affect a Jobseekers Benefit claim but might affect a Jobseekers Allowance claim depending on their age and other circumstances.

    You are entitled to 3 days on the dole. I work a 3 day week myself and I can claim 3 days on the dole (their week is a 6 days week).

    Yeap. You are entitled to 3 days dole. Did it myself for a couple of years with two kids and TBH it made better sense money wise than working a full 5 day week.

    Stupid Question...but does the same apply if you choose to do a three day week rather than your job making you?
