Ok not sure if I'm posting in the right place, but... here goes...

I have a really good hairdryer like the ones they use in hair salons, but this morning when my housemate was drying her hair it stopped working. Then she plugged it in and it gave her a shock... She's ok, but my hair dryer is not... any ideas? could I get it fixed? its worth about 150euro.. any ideas what is wrong with it?

Oh, first of all she had it plugged into an extension lead.... Cheers!
