XP AntiVirus 2008 (SpyWare/Virus)

I Got this on one of my xp machines, does anyone know how to remove it? I have had a bit of a look on the internet and know it is Spyware/virus but havn't found anything to remove it. I don't really want to have to format and reinstall.
