Quinn Life Clean Energy Fund

Got a letter in the post from Quinn Life advising the introduction of a Clean Energy Freeway Fund.

It attempts to track the S&P Global Clean Energy Index.

A worthy alternative to the Rabo Direct New Energy Fund? At first glance the main stock holdings appear similar.

I'm certainly tempted. 1.5% admin fee, presumably a lot more than an equivalent ETF but compares with Rabo charges. And of course, unlike Rabo funds, no nasty Revenue forms to be completed!

On another Quinn matter, I got another letter recently saying they are allowing up to 6 free fund switches per annum from 01/01/09.

Like my comparison with RaboDirect, no nasty Revenue forms to fill in.
