New Driver and Shaft Advice

    Howdy fellas,

Long time no see, been busy with work etc.
Got a question or two for you.
I recently broke my 65g stiff ALdila shaft on my G5 driver (7.5deg), which I have been hitting very well for quite some time.
It will cost me €100 to have the shaft replaced, BUT I was in Halpenny's and they have brand new Superquads and the oblong Titleist (D1 I think) driver for €199.
I am also going to the States at the end of October so I could easily pick something up over there quite cheaply, so I guess what I'm asking is should I just replace the shaft on my trusty weapon or go for something different, and if so what would you guys recommend??
Also replaced a shaft in my Titleist 775 irons as an experiment with a new shaft (dunno what type, but think it's the new model from the dude who designed the Rifle), but it's gonna cost me €500 to have all my irons re-done, so am half thinking about picking something up in the States..
The one shaft I got I've been hitting with a lower trajectory but not really any further, although it does seem like I have more control, so I dunno what to do , suppose I'm just asking has anybody changed a full set of shafts and if so did they find it beneficial etc.?
Sorry for being unclear and going on, just looking for some opinions..:o

    Howdy John,

If you're going to the States, wait and get fitted for a new driver. Some monkey could tip the shaft arseways for you and leave you with a different setup than you had.

Two shafts gone eh, you need to get some anger management classes. In terms of Irons you'll get a new set of Titleist AP2's in the States for about $850 / e580, which come with rifles as standard.

I'll get my shopping list ready. ;)
