Its usually a loose sheet of paper inside the box, I think.
Maybe check back of manual? I can't remember...

Yep, look for the loose sheet. You have to scratch off the silver foil bit to get the code, far as I can recall. Its been a while since I did it though. There is also that loose sheet in the Nintendo games where you scratch the foil, you can register them for more points.

I think its the scratchable sheet in boxed Wii games, but I think the sheet that comes with the console is more straightforward.

If it's the wii itself then you use the serial number on the back of the machine itself.

Clubpoints aren't Wii points, you can get some hats or a mug if you are lucky but you can't download vc games, as far as I know.

Nope these Are wii points if buying games and VC , ( I got a gift of 2000 points)

So you have the product code, for the first box?

The security code mentioned on that page is the one beside the box.

Hi Yup i have the Wii Console Sheet with the PIN on the back
its about the same as a standard envelope
Have a Few of them that come with the games, also,

Have the serial code form the back of the WII console,

On no part of any of them does it say security code. or an area to
scatch off for a Security code,

Confused.? its Doing my head in , :(

Hang on a sec, have you linked your Wii to your nintendo europe account? (or US, wherever you're based...)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 509 ✭✭✭dark_jedi_ire

    Sigh,

My Wii is online, Connected to the WII channels Etc, I Can See the WII forecasts Everything, alls fine, got the Mail to the WII telling me my WII
    number etc,

I cant join nintendo club other than getting mails, to join you need to register
a product, see Link in posts above. and I have the PIN code, Im looking to
find out where the hell this Security code is, I have Searched the Box, All documents, the WII and I have no idea, so i cant link it to an Account an account as every time
I try create one its asks for register product,

    :/

OK. Let me get some clarification on something.

If I log into Nintendo's site using my login, and go to the Product Registration site, it asks me for the Product Code (which is the PIN you say you already have - there is link on the page to tell you how to find it if you're not sure), and for a security code. For me, the security code is a 4 digit code that is displayed ON THE WEBPAGE to the left of the "security code" text box. Can you see a 4 digit code there?
"The security code helps us to prevent abuse by automated programs. Such programs cannot read the security code and their registration attempt will fail."

hmm do you know what I tryed them the code to the left of the security code, section,. didnt work , Im well used to Graphic codes for creating a myspace account Etc,
Tryed them twice And it didnt work, ages back,.
Will have to try it again, Will try the PIN again all in Capitals ( Im sure I tryed this also ) as there was Some talk of that on some forums,

I bet yeh it works, I know its Sounds like im a bit slow, but tryed that as you would first off ( makes Sense ) and didnt work, So gave up on that and trying to find a "security Code" that Everyone Was Saying came in the box,

    Cheers,

if it works I will hang my head in shame, and trust first instincts i future, If not i give up, or Frustration got the better of me and mad me blind to the :P:)

    Cheers all
