    Folks,

Hope one of you can answer this for me. I have BB with BT & have the supplied ZyXel 660C wireless router.

Someone gave me a netgear one which is almost new (don't know what the model is). It's about six months old & so is about three years younger than my current router/modem.

Can I just switch them out ?

If it is a ADSL modem/router then yes.

If it is an Ethernet ("cable") router then no

But without knowing the model number we cant be of much help
