    Im looking for a simple application for a user that needs to be able to select part of a jpeg image and then export that selected part into its own jpeg image. The simpler the better as its a user that is not technically strong :cool:

    Yes MS Paint was the app that came to mind.

    An alternative is to use the crop tool with the microsoft office picture manager

    www.getpaint.net has a button to crop the image to the size selected,
