I'm 19. Parents have said I have to be gone by the time they return from work tomorrow evening. Don't wish to discuss situation... need help with accomodation. Homeless hostels in Dublin. Can someone please, please help?

Talk to the local community welfare officer - usually found in the local health centre. They may be able to set you up with something short term while you find your feet.

If you are in college, there is usually a welfare or similar officer who will be able to help you.

Do you have anyone you can talk to?

Is there any chance that they will relent or give you a little more time? Maybe there is a friend you can stay with for a few days?

If not, you want to try contacting your local health centre for advice. They may be able to sort out some temporary accommodation. There are also a couple of sites listing emergency accommodation in Dublin here and here. To be honest, I'd imagine that it would be best to stay with someone you know over these places.

So you don't actually have anywhere to go - are you sure your parents are cool about the possibility of you being homeless? Any chance this was just a heat of the moment thing?

There is a good one just accross from bus eireann on the corner. It has a green front area, hard to miss. Think it's 10 or 11 euro a night.

Do you have any friends or family that you can stay with until you get on your feet? It's sad to hear about your situation, I hope things go well for you mate.

No matter what your story is that's still a horrendous situation to find yourself in. I too hope it works out ok...

Try and talk to your mum and dad, you may have to swallow your pride but it's worth a try. If you can try and avoid homeless hostels they are not the best, have you any aunts or uncles who could put you up?

My ma and da kicked me out when I was 16, not a nice experience, if you need to chat PM me any time...

Don't you have a friend or relative you can stay with for a few days while you get yourself sorted?
