Upgrading HDD

    Hi all,

I have a 160GB HDD in my laptop but I've ran out of space.

    I'm looking at a 320gb 7200rpm drive.

However, I want to transfer EVERYTHING across.

Is the best approach to use Norton Ghost and just create an image?

I have a partition on my drive called Recovery which contains all the OS reinstallation files etc.....will that automatically copy to an image?

Using a program like Ghost is the least painful way. Just create an image of the entire hard drive (recovery and Windows partition) and you'll get the whole lot.
